With the cartoon and sales of anything transformers still strong , the second year of the transformers introduced more robots into its line. This year saw the first introduction of the "Dinobots" robots that could turn into dinosaurs. We also got the first transformer base "Omega Supreme" and the first Transformers combiner "Devastator". Like the previous year this year's toys were also repaint and remodeled toys from the pre-existing japanese toys that came out in the 70s and 80s.
