| Before being mass marketed to the U.S.
in the eighties, transformers had actually been around for more than a decade
in the Japanese market. The first two years of the transformers toy line
were actually recolored versions of Japanese molds that came out in Japan
under lines such as "Microman" & "Diaclone". Distinct
difference between the Japanese lines and the American line are the colors,
weapons, faces, and a mini Diaclone driver that would fit in each vehicle.
The drivers came with magnetic feet that would hold them inside the vehicles.
Credit goes to Cybertronian
Artifacts for allowing the use of his Diaclones for this section.
